Urban Greening - Sudbrook Naturalisation

The project involves modification to the existing concrete channel and earth bank slopes, and creation of flood plain habitat through re-meandering, modification of cross sections and creating a more natural planform. These works will include the following key tasks:

• Excavation and filling of land area;
• Demolish of reinforced concrete channel;
• Formation of a new stream channel (course and cross section)
• Creation of flood meadows and an amenity area;
• Improvements to an existing Severn Trent Water attenuation feature;
• Mown paths;
• Seeding grass and wildflower mixes and tree planting
