Food & Beverages Vending for HMCTS Courts - Six regions

This early engagement notice is for a potential future opportunity to supply vending of snack foods and beverages across the HMCTS estate, which is made up of 342 courts across England and Wales.

The customer for this exercise is breaking down the estate into 6 regions (North West & North Wales, North East, Midlands, South West, South Wales, London & South East) and would like one supplier of vending services per region.

The intention is for each contract to be of the length of three years with two optional one-year extensions.

The Customer is interested in a rental OR free-on-loan vending provision as detailed below:

• Fully managed vending provision to include snacks, confectionery, hot and cold beverages to sites, as per list of requirements per site
• Refilling and maintenance of machines as well as innovation and improvements to the service as part of the managed service
• Dealings with complaints, non-vended items or faulty goods on delivery
• The supplier/s will provide management information to enable the authority to manage performance and to aid continuous improvement

The procurement will be run through the Crown Commercial Service RM6264 Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS. All suppliers will need to register onto the DPS. The procurement will start late November 2023 the earliest. We advise interested suppliers to register as soon as possible.

Potential suppliers should note that HMCTS is not committing to procure or enter into any contract at this stage and all details are subject to change. This is for early engagement only.

The procurement will be run using the Crown Commercial Service RM6264 - Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS.
