3 Promontory Foundation Construction and Surfacing Repair

KBS Maritime have a requirement to complete civil construction work on 3 Basin Promontory at Portsmouth Naval Base. The civils package will include construction of the following:

• Construction of a concrete tower crane foundation (including piling)
• Construction of concrete foundation for mooring bollards (including piling)
• Installation of mooring bollards to foundations.
• Installation of feeder pillar at crane foundation base and supply run from local substation.
• Excavation of ground in preparation for resurfacing works
• Resurfacing works
• Replacement of road covers
• Working alongside civil design consultants who will be providing quality assurance activities
• Manage site in line with CDM regulations

Work is planned to take place from the 2nd January 2026.

Foundation works are to be completed by end of May 2026 at the latest to allow tower crane erection.

Indicative contract value £1.2m - £1.8m

Once the notice has closed, suppliers will be invited to Pre-Qualify and/or Invited to Tender. A Non-Disclosure Agreement will also be required, prior to participating in a Pre-Qualification and/or Invitation to Tender.
