At the University of Bedfordshire for the two Schools of Media at the Luton Campus, we need an upgrade of our high-performance video shared storage over our cat 5e cabling that is now 9 years old.
The solution needs to have the following functionality
⢠Remote access into the server from outside the university to look at proxy edits and clips in shared media spaces
⢠Asset management of video including editing metadata
⢠Automation of student video submissions assignments
⢠Easy administration of managed spaces
⢠Transfer of existing work from our old video storage solution
⢠Be fully compatible with the Apple Mac OSX
