Fire Consultant for redevelopment of Berners Street

The provision of Fire Consultancy services at the proposed developments at 47/48 Berners Street.

The existing building is comprised of six stories of office space and additional roof level which are to be refurbished. The roof will be refurbished into a complete floor and the building will be extended by an additional level of office space.

• Initial site analysis of the building existing fire strategy and confirmation of any existing fire-fighting measures and existing escape routes.

• Design input on the building at Design team meetings to allow the Design team to incorporate any new or improved fire-fighting measures.

• Liaison with the appointed Approved Inspector to agree a written Fire Strategy report for the building.

• Clarification for the Design team on Compartmentation requirements both vertically and horizontally for the building and production of comprehensive Fire Strategy drawings for each building (to accompany Fire Strategy Reports).

• Production of Fire statements to accompany planning applications for the building to satisfy the relevant planning policy requirements (if required)
