The Contract consists of the following works which are required to be carried out in accordance with the approved code of practice and guidance for the control of Legionella bacteria in water systems L8:
1. Carry out Risk Assessments to all properties in accordance with ACOP L8.
2. Contractor's database, record/report findings to Contract Administrator.
3. Quarterly water sampling 6 No. at each site and test for Legionella, pneumophila, TVC, E-Coli and Coliforms
4. Quarterly clean and flush of shower heads.
5. Annual inspection of cold water tanks.
6. Annual service of UV installation.
7. Treatment and remedial works required following positive results from the Water Sampling or Risk Assessments.
8. Remote on-line/real time temperature monitoring for Legionella control to sheltered units.
