Milton Keynes Council EOI Lakes Estate Regeneration

Milton Keynes Council (MKC) is seeking to identify contractors/ partners to help us deliver our Lakes Estate Regeneration.

Further to the recent expression of interest published on the Lakes Estate Regeneration, the Council has been reviewing its strategy in regards to delivering the scheme, as well as taking into account the current COVID-19 scenario and the potential impact on the supply chain. To that effect, the Council is seeking revised expressions of interest for the scheme that may be interested in a Lot approach to the project.

The lots currently being considered are -

• A10 - Serpentine Court Phase A - comprises the construction of 27nr housing units and apartment blocks containing 99nr units, external works and drainage

• A20 - Burnmoor Close & Melfort Drive - comprises the construction of 47nr housing units and apartment blocks containing 11nr units, external works and drainage

• A30 - Stoke Road - comprises the construction of 51nr housing units and apartment blocks (39nr) for private sale, external works and drainage

• A40 - Drayton Road - comprises the construction of 16nr housing units and apartment blocks containing 18nr units, external works and drainage

• A50 - Energy Centre - construction of energy centre to house air source heat pump etc. to facilitate a district heating system. Works will include buried piped infrastructure network to serve Phase A10 and future Phase B

• A60 - Warren Park - works comprise re-landscaping, MUGA, play equipment, attenuation tanks to serve Phase A10, swale and redway/cycle network

The Council is yet to finalise its approach and will likely undertake further market engagement to review its procurement strategy further.
