Central Bedfordshire Council is looking for a single/combination of experienced and qualified contractor(s) to provide the following services, more particularly described in the Tender pack:
Lot 1 Leachate Treatment Process and Environmental Compound Operational Contract as a fully operational plant
Lot 2 Leachate Treatment Process and Environmental Compound Operational Contract in by-pass trial
Lot 3 Bluewaters Landfill Operational Contract
Lot 4 SBR's Roof Replacement
Lot 5 Improvements to LTP's Programmable Logic Control System
Lot 6 Supply and Installation of Leachate/Gas Wells Grates and Manifold Covers
Lot 7 Supply and Installation of Leachate Pumps Controls
Tenderers may bid for any combination of Lots, although if tendering for Lots 1, 2 or 3, you must tender for all three Lots. Please see the Specification of Services for further information of the Council's requirements for each Lot.
Commencement date: 01 April 2022
Contract period: 3 years (+ up to 1 further year)

Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our "In-tend" electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Tender must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 21st February 2022. Tenders received after that time will be excluded.
The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all tenderers to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification on, please send a correspondence using the 'In-tend' portal tendering system by 12noon on Monday, 14 February 2022.
