Description

We are seeking filmmakers to produce 3 videos documenting projects across England funded by our Everyday Heritage Grants.

Each video should:

Choose a grant recipient and tell their story
Focus on sharing 'hidden histories' and stories from underrepresented communities
Lightly touch on Historic England's grants
Be evergreen

There are 57 funded projects and the final grant recipients and stories to be told on film will be chosen post-tender with Historic England's Content team. Leading candidates include 'Gwenda's Garage: the Untold Story of Lesbian Mechanics' by Out of the Archive CIC, 'Home of Metal - Grindcore at the Mermaid' by Capsule and 'The Landladies of Morcambe' by Morcambe Heritage.
