Cornwall Council Cash Collections Soft Market Assessment

Cornwall Council is conducting a soft market assessment to gain an understanding of the potential level of interest in the market for the provision of a cash collection service across the Cornwall Council local authority area. We would like to understand what options are available and it is an opportunity for Cornwall Council to better understand the wider service market.

It is intended that the responses supplied will enable the Council to consider future options. Any future provision would be subject to the development and approval of a business case, and, as such, this exercise implies no commercial commitment. This is not a formal tender document. Participation in this soft market assessment will not prejudice suppliers participating in any future procurement.

The purpose of the contract is a cash collection service. The requirement comprises of three main elements:

• Coinbox collection from car parks across Cornwall

• Collection of monies from multiple registration locations across Cornwall.

• Collection of moneys from one central office for the billing & Collection team
