The university is looking to upgrade one of its 5.1 facilities (Newton building, Studio D).
Currently comprising a Pro Tools HDX system supported by 2 x Digidesign 96 I/O's and a Digidesign C24 control surface, in use since 2009. To a 7.1.4 capable facility, in line with industry development and production trends utilizing audio over IP and object-based audio in recording/postproduction. Our target is a state-of-the-art studio centred around a custom 24-fader control surface with supporting infrastructure as detailed in tender documents.
