Electronic Auction software - Request for Information

Over the next few years Ofcom may hold further auctions. We are in the process of reviewing how we deliver online spectrum auctions, and for the EAS, we want to identify potential opportunities to reduce costs and shorten implementation timelines compared to previous auctions. To achieve these objectives, we are considering:

a) how we specify our requirements to reduce complexities and effort for suppliers to deliver the EAS build.

b) how to procure an EAS for the running of multiple auctions within a short time (any auctions subsequent to the first would have similar rules and have the same formats as the first), and c) how we can take advantage of procuring an EAS for multiple auctions to reduce costs.

Please note that undertaking this Market Engagement exercise does not commit Ofcom to any particular course of action, including undertaking a subsequent procurement process. This is an information gathering exercise only.
