The Isle of Wight Council ("the Authority") invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers ("Potential Suppliers") for the provision of a new combined heat and power (CHP) unit for Medina Leisure Centre and a subsequent service agreement.
This procurement follows the Open Procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
The contract will be in two phases: Phase one: for the decommissioning of the existing CHP unit, and the supply and installation of a new CHP unit, and Phase two: a maintenance contract for a period of up to 15 years.
The term of the contract shall be 29th October 2019 until 29th November 2019 for the decommissioning and supply and installation element;
thereafter the second element will be a fifteen-year maintenance agreement from 30th November 2019 up to 29th November 2034, but with 5 yearly break clauses in place. NOTE: that the contract has been listed as Services but is in fact a combination of Services and Works.
