This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to future market engagement that Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) intend to perform concerning the development of a supply-chain-based niche geoscience laboratory services capability. Such services will be required by NWS as part of its site characterisation programme of potential sites being considered as hosts for a geological disposal facility (GDF) and to make assessments of the future evolution of the geosphere during a post-closure safety assessment period.
