Award to PerkinElmer LAS (UK) Limited via Lot 2 - Research and Development Goods and Services of the National Microbiology Framework for the provision of LabChip GX Touch HT Nucleic Acid Analyzers for use in its Reference Service Division laboratories based at its Colindale site.
The Labchip touch will be used for genomic sizing and quantitation of DNA samples for next-generation sequencing. The solution offers an upgraded version of the current platform used by the stakeholders, that would complement the platforms already in use providing interchangeability between current and ancillary equipment, in addition to aligning with ICT and LIMS requirements.
The purchase of the LabChip GX Touch HT Nucleic Acid Analyzer under Lot 2 of the framework will enable UK HSA to meet the immediate requirement for rapid replacement of current equipment already in operation at the site.
