The London Borough of Hillingdon (Hillingdon) is running a tender competition for an agreement (the Contract) To remove 25 x existing chute extension with shut off plate. (the Works) The works include, but not limited to Installing new chute extension with automatic fire shutter plate also incorporating manual shut off factuality for maintenance purposes. (the Project).
Horizontal rolling door held by springs on each side connected to a fusible link. In case of excessive heat (or fire) the link gets fused at 165°F (68°C) causing the door to roll shut.
