The number of children who are looked after and not in education, employment or training (NEET) continues to be an area of concern in B&NES.\r

We are looking to develop an early help graduated support programme to both identify and support these children at an earlier age. Due to the complexities of working with young people placed in a different Local Authority, it is envisaged that this additional commissioned service will seek to ensure that they are not further disadvantaged.\r

This contract is to fund 3 days a week of targeted support to provide careers and employment advice for children at risk of becoming NEET.
