The Early Help Parenting Support service will work in collaboration with children's early help and youth justice services to provide early help to 25 Black, Asian and mixed heritage families whose children who are at risk of county lines, criminal exploitation and serious youth crime in Manchester.
The service will support the work of the locality based Engage panels ensuring that families receive early and timely support. Referrals will be from a range of service providers and include self-referrals from parents.
The service will ensure collaboration with schools and existing programmes such as the Alternative Provision Taskforce and SAFE programme.
Peer support will be provided through group work and a peer support forum for parents.
