The DFID-funded £46m Strengthening Education Systems for Improved Learning (SESIL) programme will support the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) to achieve the objectives of its Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP). SESIL's overall aim is to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes in lower primary so that children develop the foundational skills to contribute to economic and social progress. The requested vehicles and motorcycles will be used for coordinating, monitoring and implementation of the SESIL programme at central and district levels.
