To provide support to Knowsley residents to enable them to live independently who are generally over the age of 55 years. There is assistance from a scheme manager (warden) or support staff, 24-hour emergency response through an alarm system, majority have communal areas and social activities for residents.\r

Dispersed Alarm Service\r
\r
The dispersed alarm service is a telecare monitoring system for residents living in their own homes in the community but it is not part of the sheltered accommodation service. The service provides an emergency response should a resident activate the telecare monitoring alarm 24 hours a day to either Home Care Link or the providers own telecare monitoring provider.
