CEFAS22-117 RFQ for a Microplate Reader

Cefas require a multi-mode microplate reader, ideally with full spectrum absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence to allow a range of research applications including ELISA, stopped-flow assays, protein quantification, biomarker assays, nucleic acid quantification etc.

Minimum technical requirements:

• Absorbance: wavelength to range 200 to 1000 nm with no need to purchase specific filters
• Fluorescence: range 350-700 nm
• Luminescence: range 350-600 nm
• Incubation: temperature control ranging from ambient +4°C to 45°C
• General performance: plate shaking, can read different plate formats (e.g. 6, 12, 24 and 96-well plates), possibility to read cuvettes
• Software easy to use and allowing the plate reader to be controlled from a variety of devices (PC, laptop or tablet)
• Dimensions: the equipment needs to be maximum 45cm depth (width) and maximum 100cm long
