The UK Atomic Energy Authority has a requirement for the supply of Control & Instrumentation Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
The PLCs are required to enable delivery of an additional 5MW of Neutral Beam heating power to the Mega Ampere Spherical Tokamak (MAST) vessel and realise the Double Beam Box control system, PLC systems are required for logic-based plant control and readback, pre-operation system health tests, and datalogging of plant signals.
This requirement is for the supply, testing, configuration, inspection, packing, delivery, and documentation of the DBB PLC systems.
