MINUTE TAKING COURSE - TEACHING ASSISTANTS AND SCHOOL SUPPORT STAFF
TARGET AUDIENCE:
For all administrative staff in Primary, Special and Secondary Schools. Other staff based in schools who may be interested in progressing to train and qualify as clerks to governor meetings.
COURSE OUTLINE AND PURPOSE:
This course will provide you with essential skills for each stage of the process: understanding the meeting, working with the Chair, preparing the agenda, developing listening techniques, recording the meeting, distilling key points and structuring and writing up the minutes.
You will also benefit from a year's support from the tutor.
