The Council is working with school across Central Bedfordshire to plan for the school places that will be needed over the next 15-20 years. This will mean changes for some schools.
Schools are arranged into area-based groups called 'clusters"
There are eight clusters as follows:
1. Cranfield
2. Shefford and Stotfold
3. Biggleswade
4. Leighton Linslade
5. Sandy
6. Ampthill and Flitwick
7. Harlington
8. Dunstable and Houghton Regis
For each cluster there will be a plan for change.
The Council and the schools will need to consult the public, parents and other stakeholders on the cluster plans.
As part of the communication of the proposed cluster plan and encouraging communication Central Bedfordshire Council proposes to provide an explainer video for each cluster to be available on websites, social media and at events.
