Request For Quotation for Replacement Trash Screen and Access Steps, Milkwall, Lydney

Forest of Dean District Council has permissive powers to carry out drainage improvement works to alleviate flooding within the District and is using funding from FODDC revenue budget to replace the trash screen along the Milkwall Cycle Track, Lydney, Gloucestershire.

High rainfall events have resulted in significant, repeated flooding along the cycle track. The main purpose of this flood alleviation work is to reduce the degree of blockage at the culvert and improve access for maintenance.

The work will involve the construction of a Replacement Trash Screen (Max Width 2700mm, Depth 1350mm, Height 750mm (plus 100mm Roll Bar at edge of footplate)) and New Access Steps down bank of watercourse (bespoke design not required).

The work is being undertaken on land owned by Forest of Dean District Council.
