Southampton City Council will be re-commissioning the Weston Court adult respite services in January 2020. Weston Court is a 3 bed respite service for carers of adults with learning disabilities to have a break from their caring responsibilities as well as for the adults themselves to have a fun, engaging time at the same time as learning and developing their life skills. Further information about the service will be included within the service specification.
These services fall under the scope of Lot 1 of the Short Breaks Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) agreement which was formed in April 2019. A call-off competition will be issued in October 2019 to those providers who are successfully placed at Short Breaks Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) by then.
Organisations interested in bidding for this call-off competition must apply to join the DPS here via SCC's e-portal ( https://supplysouthampton.esourcingportal.com/ ) and will need to have submitted an application by 20th September 2019.
