Bader Way Phase 3

Wokingham Borough Council are inviting tenders to submit a fixed price tender for the provision of the Detailed design and construction of the shared cycle/footway link between the Dinton Pastures Country Park, to the northeast, and the newly installed ramp at the showcase cinema, to the southwest. The project, known as the Bader Way Phase 3, aims to increase sustainable transport in the borough by providing a safe and convenient route for non-motorised users.

The proposed route includes a non-motorized user (NMU) bridge, safe to use for both cyclists and pedestrians, over the river Loddon. The bridge will connect the recently constructed towpath along the north bank of the river with the existing towpath on the south bank, providing a seamless link between the Dinton Pastures Country Park and the Showcase Cinema.

The 1909 Bader way phase 3 project is situated adjacent the River Londdon near the Reading Showcase Cinema; this is for the implementation of a shared cycle/pedestrian route which includes white lining across the Showcase cinema parking, the offline route adjacent the River Loddon, a concrete portal over ditch and the non-motorised user bridge (NMUB).
