The works basically comprise cutting out and repairing damaged areas of existing roads within the Western Cemetery and repairing with new Tarmac Paving.
The scope includes for the following:
⢠Plane existing surfaces to reduce levels to an average depth of 40mm, load and remove all spoil arising from site.
⢠Sweep clean existing surface
⢠Apply bitumen emulsion Tack Coat.
⢠Supply, Lay and Compact 40mm thickness of new Surface Course including regulating material to all areas deeper than 40mm thickness.
⢠Apply joint paint to seal new joints to existing surfaces.
⢠Leave site clean and tidy upon completion of the works.
There is no Contractors Design requirement for the proposed works.
The Contractor should also refer to the Scope of the Works documents (Section No. 3) of the Contract Documentation attached.
