The purpose of this Prosperity Fund Project is to gain detailed information about Foreign Direct Investment in
California, and then to use that information to increase our influence in Southern California for the purposes of cultivating support for an FTA and enhancing our soft power in service of other Prosperity objectives. The relationship with the World Trade Center Los Angeles (WTCLA) and through it the government of the City of
Los Angeles of which it is a department, underpins our strategy and rationale for this project.
