The School Based Health Service for City and Hackney aims to coordinate and deliver public health interventions to improve children's and young people's health and well-being. The SBHS is led by Specialist Community Public Health Nurses who lead the 5-19 elements of the Healthy Child Programme. Public health nurses use their clinical skills and judgement to work in partnership with a broad range of partners in education, social care, health and the voluntary sector towards shared outcomes to improve, protect and promote the health of children and their families.
