The works are located on the A3011 Lynchford Road, Farnborough, Hampshire between St Albans Roundabout and Park Road Roundabout; Lynchford Road between St Albans Roundabout and Peabody Road Car Park southern entrance; and B3403 Alexandra Road between St Albans Roundabout and Queens Road.
The Works comprise three (3) elements: -
(i) the widening of the A3011 Lynchford Road to improve traffic capacity on the approach to Park Road roundabout along with improvements to the east-west pedestrian and cycle facilities between Park Road roundabout and Lynchford Road including public realm and landscaping enhancements.
(ii) the provision of a bus lane facility, using existing carriageway area, on B3403 Alexandra Road between St Albans roundabout and Queens Road; and
(iii) the improvement of pedestrian and cycle facilities along Lynchford Road between St Albans roundabout and the cul-de -sac.
