Essex County Council (ECC) are looking at the future design of a countywide approach to Autism Navigation Support. ECC Adult Social Care, hold a joint responsibility with Health colleagues to support Adults in Essex seeking an autism assessment. Support should be made available at all stages of this pathway. Working together, Health and Social Care teams must appropriately support adults' pre-assessment, during a clinical diagnostic assessment, and post-assessment, regardless of outcome.
