EKFB is seeking to appoint a competent sub-contractor to provide all the requirements (as a global package or in different lot depending on the skills and capabilities of the tenderers) below as stated for the Portal Buildings:

Steelwork

• Steel Manufacturing

• Erecting & Building Portal Building Frame including connections & associated connections.

• Provision of Any Temporary Work Design, Installation & Removal

Concrete and Earthwork

• Excavation & Backfilling

• Provision and Installation of chamber elements including Ducts, frame, cover, access ladder & etc.

• Excavation & Construction of Manhole Chambers

• Provision of steel reinforcement

• Provision of formwork & Falsework

• Construction of RC Raft Foundation

• Construction of RC Retaining Wall

• Construction of Portal Runway (Vehicle Access Route)

• Construction of Access Ramp to Portal

• Construction of External Concrete Platt & Ramp

• Construction of Emergency Assembly Area for Passengers (Mustering Area 550m2)

• Building the area for Distribution Network Operation (DNO) - Greatworth South Portal only

• Provision of GSMR Enclosure Area

• Provision of Any Temporary Work Design, Installation & Removal

Miscellaneous Work

• Provision & Installation of Partitions, Cladding, PPC Metal Doors, Fire Cabinets & Mesh Security Cage

Drainage Work & Ancillaries

Provision & Installation of Drainage System on the Portal Building

• Portal Drainage System

• Connection of Building & Portal drainage system to the Track Drainage

• Provision of 2No. 100m3 Underground Water Tanks

• Arrangement for Placing water tanks in underground position, Connecting one of the water tanks to main water and water tanks to water waste

•Provision & Installation of internal & external Lighting System in compound. Arrangement for connecting all electrical system to main.

• Provision & Installation of Roof Lighting

• Provision & Installation of Batteries inside the portal building

• Provision & Installation of Portal Security Fencing & Gates

• Provision & Installation of Fencing on GTs Roof Provision & Installation of Drainage System on GTs Roof

• Building Management System

Landscaping Work

• Provide Landscaping

Noise Barrier Work

• Supply and Install of Noise Barrier

Chipping Warden - o North Portal Building: Anticipated Start Date Nov-23 o South Portal Building: Anticipated Start Date May-23
