Supply and Fit of Fire Doors

Nottingham City Homes is inviting you to tender for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Fire Doors. The fire door sets will be installed within domestic properties, either in communal areas or within individual dwellings in rooms where there is a potential source of fire, such as kitchens and living rooms, etc. There will also be a requirement to undertake work in corporate buildings such as council buildings, schools, leisure centres, commercial buildings and any other building type to be confirmed at the call off stage.

The Contract is being procured by Nottingham City Homes for a period of 1 year with an optional extension period of a year, and it is envisaged that it will commence in June 2019. We anticipate the potential total value during the contract period to be between £80,000 and £120,000 ( per year).

The contract will be divided into 2 lots:

Lot 1 - Supply of Fire Doors

Lot 2 - Supply and Fit of Fire Doors

Pricing must remain firm and fixed for the duration of the contract and must not be subject to any variation. Contractors must understand that predicting volumes and overall values for work is difficult and no guarantee is given regarding continuity or overall value and supplier will, therefore, not be entitled to claim for loss of profit, or any other costs resulting from an alteration in the scope or volume.

During the course of the contract, we will be looking for contractors to carry out the following:

• Surveys on site to ascertain the size and type of door sets required

• Supply and delivery to site of the door sets

• Supply, delivery and installation to site of the door sets

• Supply and delivery to stores of the door sets
