This Scheme will cover Active Travel improvements on Shadsworth Road and Haslingden Road, Blackburn, and will encompass the following:
•Removal of kerbed centre islands,
•Alteration to existing zebra crossing
•associated electrical works,
•relocation of a kerbline and widening of the footway,
•footway reconstruction as necessary,
•Alterations to existing AD signage,
•Removal and provision of new footway markings,
•Footway surface course overlay using tarmac materials or slurry seal
•carriageway patching.
