Description

Service Aims

It is envisaged that the City of London Police enters into a contract with one supplier or a partnership of two or more providers to deliver In-Car Audio Video, Digital Interview Recording System, Body Worn Video, Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) / Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) solution. The aims are to:

Improve the handling, storage, and management of digital assets across the Force
Improve Officer and staff experience of managing digital assets resulting in significant time savings
Improve Victims and witnesses experience by being able to rapidly transfer evidence to the Force
Improve the process for transferring digital evidence to CPS

The expected outcomes are:

Officer and Staff time savingsâ¯as a result of quickerâ¯processing andâ¯management of digital assets
Improve victim and witness satisfaction with City of London Police service
Improve speed of progress of cases asâ¯digital data able to be shared with CPS earlier in the investigative cycle
