The Tide Gauge Network development project has been established to explore the future of the network and has a primary objective of ensuring the system provides a high-quality sea-level monitoring system that delivers the latency and sampling required for operational forecasting risk and incident management.
The economic appraisal scope seeks to delivery an evidence-based assessment of the existing tide gauge networks value, qualitative and quantitative, and support the demonstration of option costs, demonstrating value for money and allowing the business case to be developed.
