The Authority is embarking on a re-design of its Acute Inpatient Wards and Older Adult Wards with a view to providing new facilities encompassing a new Acute Inpatient unit and a new Older Adult campus, which could either be new build or refurbishment projects.
To facilitate this work, the Authority wishes to employ a Healthcare Planner to produce a comprehensive set of information, which the Authority could use to enable a feasibility study to be carried out by an appointed architect to provide the Authority with an option appraisal of existing premises; either refurbishment, demolition and new build or new site to be acquired.
In addition, the information produced by the Healthcare Planner will be used in the Strategic Outline Business Case.
