Tenders are sought for the preparation of a 2020 NN Retail Capacity Update. The results will provide evidence for the NN Strategic Plan as it is developed, support the development of town centre strategies should the Local Planning Authorities or NN unitary wish to progress these and inform development management decisions.
Additional information: Please note that this project has key milestones and therefore if you genuinely cannot meet the Councils requirements then please do not submit a bid.
The procurement timescales, indicative programme and deadlines are:
1. 18th February 2020 - KBC issues consultancy brief on behalf of NNJPDU on contracts finder.
2. 24th February 2020 - Deadline for clarification questions (JPDU to respond by 28/2).
3. 9th March 2020 - Deadline for tender submissions
4. w/c 16th March 2020 - Provisional date for interviews
5. w/c 16th March 2020 - Tender Evaluation
6. w/c 23rd March 2020 - Award Decision
7. 1st April 2020 - Proposed Contract Start Date
8. 6th April 2020 - Inception meeting
9. April-May 2020 - Household Surveys
10. June 2020 - Interim Report including outputs from stage 2.1 (1) retail capacity/shopping patterns work.
11. July 2020 - Draft Report for review
12. September 2020 - Final Report 30th September or earlier
13. 30th September 2020 - Contract Expires
