Additional 1 year direct award to enable continuation of a range of support to people who care for someone with dementia or an adult with mental health issues through counselling, carers support groups, respite care through direct service provision and a range of trips and social events to give carers a break from their caring roles. Due to Covid-19, the service will initially be delivered via telephone with the intention to revert to face to face delivery as soon as this is possible. The revised method of delivery will enable carers to continue to be supported in their caring role.
