Tilehurst Parish Council invites companies to tender for the regular grounds maintenance of its various open spaces, play areas and recreation grounds located around the parish. The work will include weedkilling of hard surfaces, reforming footpaths, cutting hedges, crown lifting trees, as well as maintenance of football pitches at three sites.
Grass cutting at all sites and rolling/slitting of football pitches are not included in this contract.
The initial contract will run for a period of three years commencing 1 April 2022.
Tenders received will be evaluated against the specification and assessed on prices as set out on the pricing schedule as well as on relevant experience.
All the sites may be visited independently, and the Clerk will also be available to accompany contractors to sites on Wednesday 23 February. Anyone wishing to attend should contact the Clerk by Monday 21 February.
