West London NHS Trust requires a vendor independent consultant to advise them on a technical strategy to deliver a unified estate of video conferencing and multimedia equipment/software across the Trust's 40+ sites, including the rationalisation of its ongoing management and support.
The Trust currently operates a number of dedicated training and meeting rooms where fixed and mobile multimedia equipment is in use including projectors, video conferencing equipment, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, screens etc. The Business Technology Directorate on behalf of the Trust is looking for a subject expert in this area to carry out the following activities:
⢠Audit current deployments and types of equipment in use.
⢠Advise on standards and integration opportunities for any future deployments of equipment.
⢠Advise on technical options for the effective central support/management of deployed assets.
⢠Help design an investment plan to replace obsolete, or non-strategic equipment.
⢠Support the Trust issuing and review of tenders for support and maintenance of existing estate/new standardised estate going forward. Interested suppliers can access the tender documents by login onto www.lppsourcing.org and searching the project by name or Trust.
