The aim of the Service is to deliver a public facing campaign to encourage residents to support others who are most vulnerable by becoming a Winter Friend.
A Winter Friend is someone who can support people who are most at risk of poor health during winter to take positive actions to reduce their risk. This would be achieved by informal volunteering, sharing key messages and referring and signposting to relevant services.
