This work package is to be undertaken at The Heights Leisure Centre, The Broadway, Sandown, Isle of Wight. It includes the installation of 5 Air Source Heat pump units, to supply a large portion of the Leisure complex with domestic hot water and pool water heating. The works include the integration of the new units into the existing mechanical services infrastructure and controls on the site, together with various pipework modifications and new ancillary system components as fully detailed in this specification package. The principal new Air Source Heat Pump Plant will be located on a new external deck structure constructed over the existing external chemical store building. This structure and principal overhead external pipe supports are not included in this package of work and are being supplied by others.
The term of the contract shall be based on providers best endeavours with an expected commencement date of October 2021 and completion by end of February 2022.
