CSF Lot 1a - Maryport Infant School and Maryport Church of England Junior School - Amalgamation

The County Council wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver the project as outlined below:

Maryport Infant School and Maryport Church of England Junior School are located on the same site and share the same building. Each School has one wing of the building with shared facilities centred on the dining room / kitchen (see CAD layout plan).

On Thursday 5 September 2019 the Schools will amalgamate to become Maryport Church of England Primary School.

To prepare for the amalgamation the Council is looking to assist the new School by undertaking limited alterations to reduce areas of duplication, as the potential items listed below;

• Create one main reception
• New visitor entrance / parking
• Combine existing systems, i.e. security, fire, etc
• Create one staff room
• Fencing
• Alterations to nursery area
• Minor roofing works
