Installation of new non-wired Fire Alarms to 'On-Call' Fire Stations to Essex County Fire and Rescue Service Premises. With the exception of Great Baddow Fire Station which is manned from 0900-1800, all remaining fire stations included within the scope are 'On-call' Fire stations. On call stations are un-crewed until they have a fire call, then they have minutes to arrive, get ready and leave on an appliance. The successful contractor will have to allow for a call out situation and must not impede the appliance from exiting the station.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
