Provision of the Family Resources Survey (FRS) 2024 - 2027

The Contracting Authority is developing a requirement for a supplier to support with delivery of the Family Resources Survey (FRS). The FRS is a continuous household survey which collects information on a representative sample of randomly selected private households in the United Kingdom, with an annual target of 45,000 achieved interviews.

The supplier would be required to develop, produce, programme and maintain the questionnaire, as well as deliver approximately 65% of the face-to-face field interviews within England, Scotland and Wales. The supplier will also work closely with the Contracting Authority and other partners to ensure successful management, delivery, and continuous improvement of the FRS.

The approach detailed above is an approach the Contracting Authority is considering, therefore:

• This project may not be taken forward.
• The Contracting Authority may make amendments to the approach outlined in this notice.
• Any future procurement is subject to internal approval and approvals across Government.
• The contract start date has been entered as 1st October 2023, however this date is subject to change.
