The contract is for the delivery, support and maintenance of a Digital Interview Recording (DIR) solution across the Greater Manchester Police estate. This will be a fully managed service by the supplier.
The DIR solution will operate from a number of fixed locations including :
Custody Rooms
Monitoring Rooms
Victim and Witness Monitoring Rooms
There is a current solution in place and this contract is to replace this aging system predominately on a like for like basis.
