Broads Authority Office Refurbishment works (pre-qualification)

The Broads Authority wish to enter into contract with a building contractor for the refurbishment of their offices within Yare House, 62-64 Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1RY.

Contractors interested in undertaking the works are invited to participate in this pre-qualification opportunity. A minimum of 3Nr contractors who successfully pre-qualify will be further invited to prepare and submit a price through a second-stage quantitative closed tender process.

The scope of works briefly comprises:

• Soft strip of existing internal fittings and finishes
• Demolition of existing internal partitions to suit revised floor layout
• Mechanical and electrical alterations
• Installation of new internal partitions for new floor layout and glazed meeting spaces
• Partial replacement of internal doors
• New floor finishes and decorations
• Supply and installation of a new staff kitchen
• Supply and installation of new fitted joinery and interior design items
• Supply and installation of new fitted and loose furniture
