Thamesmead Waterfront is one of seven locations proposed to be taken forward as part of the Government's New Town Programme. The site has the potential to deliver up to 15,000 homes, unlocking inaccessible riverside land in London, enabled by the planned Docklands Light Railway Extension. \r
